Do I have to edit functions.php or my theme?
No. Install the plugin, click Connect, approve it from your helpo dashboard, and the widget renders on every page. If you would rather not use a plugin at all, the one-line script tag works on WordPress too.
Where does the AI chatbot get its answers?
From your own content. The plugin can send your pages and posts to the knowledge base, and you can add PDFs, a crawl of another site, help center articles and Q&A pairs from the dashboard. Each answer cites the source it came from.
Will it slow my site down?
