Install the plugin, click connect, approve the request from your helpo dashboard, and the widget is live on the site. The plugin holds a scoped bearer token of its own rather than your login, and revoking it from helpo takes the site offline immediately without touching WordPress.

Set it up
Install helpo — AI Support Chat from the WordPress plugin directory, or upload the zip from your dashboard's WordPress integration screen, then activate it.
In wp-admin, open helpo and click Connect. You are sent to your helpo dashboard to sign in, pick or create a project, and approve the connection. WordPress receives a token scoped to that site; your helpo login is never stored in WordPress.
The plugin can send your pages and posts to the project's knowledge base, so the AI answers from what your site already says.
The widget appears on every page as soon as the connection is approved. Theming, the inbox and takeover live in your helpo dashboard; the plugin links to them from wp-admin.
